The positioning of the two houses in Amorgos was defined by the existing curved dry-stone walls, two of which were `re-interpreted` and included in the composition of these white Cycladic buildings. The large vertical openings in the outer walls of the buildings, allow the walls to pierce the building volumes intactly and let the sunrise and sunset light be diffused in the interior space.
