Description

“LANDED” Inspiration

The simulation of the gradual change of a city’s scale, as we understand it during landing, with the prospect of synthesis which leads to the same vanishing point, which links dynamically the urban scale with the micro object.

The form includes a static part, which stems from its relationship with the ground, while engages in dialogue with its weightless-aerodynamic nature. The use of concrete with exposed aggregate depicts recycling through the reuse of material, while it borrows the texture of a city’s view from above, where buildings appear as dots.

Here the Athens Bench Mark is a group of sculptures of seats which can be installed either as a whole or individually.
